Crane, a deep triangular lochlet (2/3 x1/3 furl.) in Dunsyre parish, E Lanarkshire, amid the moorish south-western Pentlands, 1100 feet above sea-level, and 3¼ miles NW of Dunsyre village. It abounds with perch and pike.
