Monk Myre, a lake (4 x 1 furl.) in Bendochy parish, Perthshire, 23/8 miles SE of Blairgowrie. Originally a shallow reedy pool, covering a bed of rich marl, it was deepened into a lake by extensive digging for removal of the marl.
