Rowchester, an estate, with a fine modern mansion, in Greenlaw parish, Berwickshire, 3 miles SE of the town. It was purchased in 1858 by Rt. Hy. Broughton, Esq. (b. 1829), who holds 926 acres in the shire, valued at £1890 per annum.Ord. Sur., sh. 25, 1865.
