Llanengan, par. and vil., Carnarvonshire, in SW. of co., at SE. extremity of Lleyn Peninsula, 7 miles SW. of Pwllheli, 4354 ac. (633 water), pop. 1408; P.O.; the coast here is very dangerous, and was the scene of the wreck of the Transit in 1839; the par. contains 3 ancient camps and some other antiquities.
