Bridgford, East, or Bridgford on the Hill, par. and vil., on river Trent, in S. of co. and 9 miles NE. of Nottingham, 1910 ac., pop. 898; P.O. Near the vil. is the site of an old Roman station, where many rare and interesting antiquities have been found.
