Menstrie, vil. with ry. sta. (Menstrie and Glenochil), Logie par., Clackmannanshire, on Menstrie Burn and at the foot of the Ochil Hills, 4 miles NW. of Alloa, pop. 918; P.O., T.O.; has mfrs. of Scotch blankets and other woollen goods, and about 1 mile SE. is Glenochil Distillery; General Sir Ralph Abercromby (1734-1801) was a native.
