Flatholm, island, in Bristol Channel, within par. and 8 miles NW. of Uphill, E. Somerset; is 1½ mile in circumference, and affords good sheep pasture; on the S. point is a lighthouse, 99 ft. high and 164 above high water, with occulting light seen 18 miles.
