Newbold and Dunston, town and township, Chesterfield par., and eccl. dist., partly also in Whittington par., Derbyshire-dist., pop. 6404; town and township, 2 miles NW. of Chesterfield, 2991 ac., pop. 6158; P.O., T.O., called Newbold; has coal mining and iron works, also manufactures of stone bottles and coarse earthenware.
