Cantray, an estate, with an elegant modern mansion, in Croy and Dalcross parish, Inverness-shire, on the left bank of the Nairn, 9 miles ENE of Inverness, and 4½ S of Fort George station. Its owner, Hugh Grogan Davidson, Esq. (b. 1833; suc. 1846), holds 3228 acres in the shire, valued at £1934 per annum.
