Halesowen, market town, par., and township, with ry. sta., E. Worcestershire, in fertile valley, on river Stour, 7½ miles SW. of Birmingham -- par., 12,245 ac., pop. 37,854; township, pop. 3338; P.O., T.O., 1 Bank. Market-day, Monday.
