A vision of Britain from 1801 to now.
Including maps, statistical trends and historical descriptions.
In 1887, John Bartholomew's Gazetteer of the British Isles described Shandy Hall like this:
Shandy Hall, picturesque old mansion, Coxwold par., North-Riding Yorkshire, 7½ miles SE. of Thirsk and near Coxwold Church; Lanrence Sterne (1713-68) resided here for some years, and wrote his Tristram Shandy and Sentimental Journey.
This is the only descriptive gazetter entry we have found, but you may be able to find further references to Shandy Hall by doing a full-text search here.
