NEWTON-HALL, a township in Bywell St. Peter parish, Northumberland; 8 miles E N E of Hexham. Acres, 715. Pop. in 1851, 106; in 1861, 73. Houses, 16. The property belongs to W. F. Blackett, Esq. There is a chapel of ease.
