This ecclesiastical parish is listed by Melville Richards as being in Monmouthshire, but the two ancient parishes he lists it as having been in, Llangeinwen and formerly Llanidan, are both in Anglesey as is the only place we can find with this name, so it has been re-assigned to Anglesey.
