Melville Richards lists LLANVIHANGEL CRUCORNEY parish as being the same ecclesiastically as CRUCORNAU FAWR. However, the Census boundary change listing for Monmouthshire states CRUCORNAU FAWR parish was only created in 1935 at the same time as LLANVIHANGEL CRUCORNEY was abolished. These administrative CP units have been amended to reflect this.
